Dayquil - The Saga Continues

So I contacted Dayquil about not having crack in it anymore and actually got a response, and even more surprisingly, an offer for a refund. Here is the conversation:

Customer
The new formula Dayquil doesn't work as well as the old version with psuedoephedrine

Response

Thanks for writing.
I'm sorry you're disappointed with your recent purchase of Vicks DayQuil, and I'm sharing your feedback with the rest of our team.

The old version of DayQuil contained the decongestant Pseudoephedrine which in
some states and in some stores, was only available behind the pharmacy counter. We wanted to be able to continue to provide DayQuil on store shelves so consumers could get it without having to ask the pharmacist.

The new version of DayQuil will relieve the same symptoms as the old version. Your satisfaction is important to us so I'd like to send you a refund.

Please
respond with your complete name and mailing address, and also let us know your purchase price. Once we have that, you can expect to hear from us within 7-10 days.

Thanks again for stopping by.

Customer
Thanks for the response. I actually just purchased a one dose sample at my local convenience store. No need to refund. Thanks though, that is very consumer friendly of your company. So are there going to be psuedo-ephedrine options available at all? I don't mind asking a pharmacist to get the formula that works better.

Thanks again.

Response
I'm glad you wrote, Brando. Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride is currently used in the Vicks DayQuil Liquid version. Vicks DayQuil LiquiCaps now uses Phenyledphrine as the nasal decongestant. Hope this helps and thanks again for stopping by.
