Must have been one heck of a sale.

Firefighters: Holiday shoppers kept buying during Ohio mall blaze

MENTOR, Ohio Firefighters in Ohio say shoppers at a Dillards South store in Mentor kept buying even as thick smoke from an electrical fire filled the business.

No one was injured in yesterday's blaze at the Great Lakes Mall store.

Mentor fire Battalion Chief Joe Busher says shoppers wanted to stay and buy even as smoke filled the store. He says firefighters had to block the door so customers didn't come in.

He estimates about 130-thousand dollars in fire and smoke damage.

The store plans to reopen tomorrow.
