It's still colder than a witch's nip-nip out there. [Where did that expiression come from?]

Storm shifts, much less snow expected

'KUSA - The storm approaching Colorado Friday morning has tracked farther south into New Mexico meaning the heavy snow will stay south of Denver.

The 9NEWS Weather team says the storm has moved about 50 to 75 miles farther south than expected and therefore the National Weather Service has cancelled the Winter Storm Warning that had been posted for Denver.

A WINTER STORM WARNING does continue for areas along and south of the Palmer Divide through 6 p.m. Friday for 4-8 inches of snow. Areas in the warning include Castle Rock, Kiowa, Limon, Monument Hill, and Colorado Springs.'
