You know what's annoying?
Software programs that make you change your password each month; and you can't use the same one twice.
The thing is, I only use this application once every two months, so I have to write the password down, which kind of circumvents the whole security process.
AND, it's a read-only ticketing system! It's not like I am logging in to equipment where I can accidentally reconfigure stuff, or take traffic down.

We had a tool like that at my last job. I simply chose the word Money and added a different sequential number when I needed to change it (you know, money1, money2, etc.). Ours was merciful though, because after the 7th password reset you could start over, thus stopping password money73491073.
Yah, I finally learned to do that the hard way. It gets confusing when you have ten different programs to remember passwords too.
Amen.
