Humor has changed.
Over the weekend I saw some old episodes of Abbott and Costello, and I couldn't believe how much humor has changed since back then.
Seriously, I didn't find it funny at all as it relied heavily on shtick and physical humor.
Contrast that with 30 Rock, which I am finally getting around to watching, and it's night and day.
Our humor today is so much more sarcasm and wit.

I notice that a lot with older comedy. I think because a lot of it has do do with the surprise or shock factor. Once something's been done enough, it's not funny anymore.
