I thought that you are supposed to clean out food containers and such before putting them in the recycle bin.
Some slobs at work throw soup cans and such with food residue still on 'em.
So do you have to clean them or not?

we actually run them through the dishwasher. we live in a area of the city that has a gigantic racoon population. any hint of food and those devils will find a way in.
not to mention vermin and the stink of a hot day.
