Hubba

So watched this movie called 'You Can Count On Me', and even though he's kinda scruffy looking in this one, Mark Ruffalo is a hottie. It was a surprisingly good movie. Laura Linney is very convincing in her role, and Matthew Broderick is funny at moments. Plus, there was a surprise bonus of Josh Lucas playing Cory Culkin's bio-pop.

Not much to the story except that it is about a brother and sister dealing with each other as adults, after growing up without parents. I was expecting just another indie flick, but it was almost a comedy on some points. What is also funny, is that on the DVD they have the trailer. I guess it was big at Sundance, but a reporter [from The Denver Post], was blurbed as saying Ruffalo is the next Brando. I wouldn't go that far. But the other blurb from some other reporter said this should be an Oscar winning role for Laura Linney. Which got me to think, she is a pretty good actor. She seems to be underrated.
