Can't wait to see this built
I attended the architect selection meetings, and even got to sit on in an interview my teach Patrick Soran did, for 5280 magazine, on David Adjaye.
The concept for the building is for it to be a 'living' structure that changes it's appearance depending on the way the sky appears over the course of a day.
It's going to be translucent so it will also glow at night. David said he wanted to hopefully have Cydney do light/film installations that could be shown on the translucent walls, and be visibile from the street.

Construction is expected to start in 2 weeks. The $15 million downtown building may open next spring.
Almost $10 million of the $15 million needed has been raised for the building, depicted above. (Special)
The Denver Art Museum formally launched construction two years ago of its soon-to-be completed addition, and, Monday afternoon, it was the Museum of Contemporary Art/Denver's turn.
With pink hard hats and the requisite, long-handled shovels, director/curator Cydney Payton and 10 other dignitaries ceremoniously broke ground for a $15 million permanent home on the northwest corner of 15th and Delgany streets.
More than 250 people attended the half-hour event under a cloudless blue sky, including U.S. Reps. Diana DeGette and Mark Udall of Colorado, Mayor John Hickenlooper and London architect David Adjaye, who oversaw the museum's design.
