You know how I know you're up too early?
Or out too late?
- Starbucks isn't even open
- The homeless people are still asleep on the benches on 16th Street Mall
- The squirrels aren't even out yet
Woke up at 3 and decided to just come in early. Being up at this time reminds me of two things:
- Being a raver and partying my ass off until after the sun has come up [Good times]
- Having to get up at the butt-crack of dawn, to open the store when I worked at Peaberry's in Boulder
This time of day has a certain, haunting serenity to it. I like it.

Wow! You and I must be on the same clock. It's hard for me to sleep when the sun's coming up, and here it comes up at 4:30 am these days.
