Trickle down effect of the heat:

'Starbucks, the world's largest coffee-shop chain, reported a 15% rise in quarterly earnings after the bell Wednesday that met analysts' estimates, but the stock was pummeled when the company reported July comparable store sales results below Wall Street estimates.

Joining a long list of retailers who love to blame the weather, Starbucks blamed demand for cold drinks. Apparently too many customers wanted cold, juice-based frappucinos in the morning instead of coffee. Those drinks take longer to make, which led to long lines and customers walking out of stores, the company said.'

Yah, when I used to go to Starbucks, I would shoot evil death rays at anyone who would choose to order a Frap when there was a line.

I was a barista too for a while, but luckily, ours was in a slurpee machine type deal.

As for Big Daddy, it's even worse, I dropped the Brando as a co-worker found out I have a blog, so I had to remove the etrail.
