Can rabbits swim?

'I just experimented with my rabbit, Betty. I dropped her into a full bath of water. She swam about on the bottom of the bath for a while then popped up gasping for air. (I'm not surprised, she'd been down there for four minutes! Not sure I could hold my breath for that long.) Now she's floating on her side about halfway from the top. She looks so peaceful. I might have a bath now.'
