Ha.

'Also getting the jeer treatment was Jennifer Lopez, who looked visibly upset as her thriller "Bordertown" was met with derision last week at the Berlin Film Festival, where the media "roared at the subtle-as-a-sledgehammer dramaturgy and greeted the ending with loud boos," according to the AFP.

While Amnesty recently bestowed a humanitarian award on J. Lo for making the film, which centers on the hundreds of female factory workers who have been raped and murdered along the Mexico-U.S. border over the last dozen-plus years, the Hollywood Reporter labeled it "hokey, unconvincing and ludicrous."

Variety, meanwhile, praises Lopez for her "first passable [performance] ... in many years," but kvetches that she "still looks too fussily groomed ... Even after she's been through a fire and almost raped, her mascara is still perfect in the morning after."'
