Question.
Do nurses brush coma patients' teeth?
I was at the dentist the other day, and the hygenist didn't have an answer for that.
Is it part of a nurses duties, or do they not even bother since they are fed intravenously?
I would imagine it would be hard to get the toothpaste out as the patient can't spit.
