Rocket? Seriously?
Parents of boy who fell out window tell their story
'DENVER – An 18-month old boy is at home recovering from a fall from a second story window.
The child fell at his home at 471 Josephine around 5 p.m. Saturday.
Kristin Benoist tells 9NEWS she was standing with her son Rocket before he fell.
"You don't think your baby is going to fall out of a window when you are four feet away but he did," Kristin Benoist said.
He walked behind her, leaned up against the screen and went through it, falling 20 feet -- face first -- onto the rocks below.
"I thought he was dead. For him to be alive is an absolute miracle," Jim Benoist said. "I think the screen landed somehow and broke his fall."
Rocket has scrapes on his face and a broken rib but is otherwise okay.
The Benoist family plans to put safety locks on their windows.'
