Wonder what the motive was?

Someone forgot to empty the dishwasher maybe?
Police say mother tried to burn home with family inside

'Lakewood Police say 47-year-old Nancy Jean Jewett started the fire that damaged her family's town home at 408 S. Balsam St. just before 2 a.m. on Wednesday.

Jewett's husband, her two children, ages 19 and 24, and a boyfriend of the 24-year-old, were inside the home when the fire started.

Police say they were able to escape and no one was injured.

Police say Jewett faces four counts of attempted murder.

"Given the fact that the fire was intentionally set, that it was most likely set by her, she would have knowledge those four people were in the house," said Steve Davis, spokesperson for Lakewood Police. "Given all that, yes, we think the most appropriate charge, at least at this point, would be an attempted murder on each of those people."

They believe Jewett is driving a green 1998 4-door Buick Century with Colorado license plate 641-KNG.'
