Perils Of Property Ownership - Part 3 - 'Whew!'
I took the day off in order to get the plumbing/leak issue resolved. Luckily, John, the plumber, confirmed that everything was dry as a bone, and whatever caused the leak, was gone.
Although I don't really think it was the bits of missing grout, the plumber said that could have caused it. Thank god I am kinda handy, and re-grouted the tiles as soon as I found out.
Also luckily enough, my downstairs neighbor was ok with his assessment and said she would let me know if any problems arise. She also rescinded my offer to pay for supplies to repaint her ceiling.
So in the end, it all worked out. Althought, John, the plumber, did point out that I have a problem with my 'P Trap' [no comments from the peanut gallery!], and I should swap it at sooner before later.
Along with finishing up touching up the grout, I am going to tackle that this weekend. Thankfully it's a three day weekend. Which helps, because I am also on deadline for the magazine.
By the way, I have to recommend Bell Plumbing and Heating. I used them before, and even though they are a little pricey [the inspection cost me $127], their plumbers know their craft, and don't create false problems in order to pad more money.
