My friend, I have to disagree with you on this one. David Chase's final script was brilliant. In addition here's some other info thanks to a friend of mine whose father worked on the show:
If anyone else thought the finale of The Sopranos sucked, you are not alone! For a series finale it pretty much sucked, but the ending was pretty interesting. At first I was mad as hell at the way it ended...Absolutely nothing! Now, I found out a few things that I didn't realize at first, and I bet not alot of you did either....
The guy at the counter who went to the bathroom was actually from (Season 6-part 1) credited as Phil Leotardo's nephew!!!
The two black guys who walked in were the two guys who Uncle Junior hired to whack Tony but only managed to get his ear in the car jacking episode ( I think season 2 or 3)
The truck driver who walked in was the brother of the guy Christopher robbed in Season 2
Also, back in the first episode of this season, Tony and Baccala are talking on the boat and they say "You don't hear it before it happens" ...and the screen goes BLACK
So now...we will never know what happens obviously, but it makes you think...was this finally the end of Tony Soprano?

I actually never got in to 'The Sopranos'.
This was just in response to all the negative response I have read about the finale.
Plus, it gave me a reason to post the best series finale, ever.
Ah, see, total Sopranos AND Six Feet Under fan here. My new favorite: Flight of the Conchords. Check it out!
