I hope so.

Last night was the first night I have had to turn off the AC.

Has Denver seen its last 90 degree day of the year?

'DENVER - With a cold front moving in for the end of the week could our 90 degree temperatures be done for the season?

It has been a warm summer this year despite the abundant daily rainfall that many areas have seen since late July.

Cooler air is moving into the state from the Pacific Northwest late Wednesday and it is possible that this front would mark the end of temperatures at or above 90 degrees in Denver for the year.

9NEWS meteorologist Marty Coniglio says that we still could scrape together one or two more 90 degree days, but with every passing day the potential for that gets smaller and smaller.

So far this year Denver has had 53 days at or above 90 degrees at the official temperature measurement station at Denver International Airport.

The record for the most 90 degree days was set in 2000 with 61 days.

The average over the last 30 years in Denver is 32 days at or above 90 degrees.

Here are the numbers for the past five years for total number of days at or above 90 degrees.

2007: 53
2006: 54
2005: 57
2004: 20
2003: 44
2002: 56'

Please, please, please let it be true. I don't like summer. Call me weird, but I'll all about the autumn.
