Man does she need a support bra.
The movie is kind of pointless actually.

i actually kind of liked 'sherrybaby'. but that's largely because i'm totally in love with all things gyllenhaal.
I dig Maggie too, but it just didn't seem to have enough conflict.
It reminded me a lot of 'Half Nelson' but didn't have the same sense of depth to the character study; to me at least.
you're right there— 'half nelson' was a far better film all around—but 'sherrybaby' wasn't a complete waste of time, if nothing else, mg is a pretty good actress and it's nice to see her try on different roles.
