I can't believe It won

'Crash' - It was okay, but nothing award winning. It won best film ensemble Sunday at the 12th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards

You kidding? Crash is Oscar bait thru and thru. A socially conscious faux-literary piece with an ensemble cast with the screenwriter of Million Dollar Baby at the helm. If it was even somewhat good, it was going to be nominated.

I will say this though, Crash had two genuninely affecting scenes (at least to me), scenes where I became so emotionally invested in what I was seeing that I literally cried.

The scenes: When the Iranian guy shoots the little girl with the invisible bullet-proof cloak and when Matt Dillon rescues Thandie Newton from a burning car.

Those two scenes were as powerful as any I have ever seen in a movie of any caliber.
