Government sites - for kids!

Looking through the USDA site for kida, they have multiple sites! Why, I don't know. Maybe teachers use them? But found this disturbing bit of info:
AMS grades different kinds of poultry including: chicken, turkey, duck, goose, guinea, and pigeon.
Guinea? Pigeon? You can buy USDA rated pigeon? I know European and Central American cuisine utilizes pigeon as food, but the US?
Although this link is kind of useful to know: Using USDA Meat Grades
In case you need them, pigeon recipes [!]
and Guinea Fowl .
I don't think I have ever seen Guinea Fowl in a store or on a menu.
