Quiznos VP arrested for child enticement

'FREMONT COUNTY - A 47-year-old man from Englewood was arrested last week after he allegedly drove to Canon City to have sex with someone whom he believed to be a 13-year-old girl.

Scott Darrell Lippitt was arrested on the evening of August 2.

In Lippitt's conversations with an undercover officer over the Internet police say he expressed an interest in "teaching" the girl about sex and offered to bring alcohol to their meeting to "help her relax."

Police say when Lippitt was arrested he had alcohol in his vehicle along with several articles of sexual paraphernalia.

Lippitt, who is a vice president at Quiznos, faces charges of criminal attempt at sexual assault on a child, enticement of a child, Internet sexual exploitation of a child, and Internet luring. All are class four felonies.'
