Keane Rules!
So I was bummed out when we got to the Ogden late because we had crappy spots. I couldn't see the stage.
So a third of the way through the concert, I went down on the floor, and managed to find a nook that gave me a somewhat better view.
Problem was, the guy next to me was clapping his paws [loudly] along to each song [even the slow ones]. It felt like this guy thought he was at some fundamentalist Christian rock sing-a-long. I had to move.
I figures I'd give the steps a try. As I am getting reasdy to ascend to the balcony, I noticed a spot with an unblocked view of the entire stage.
There was a cute security guy standing there [making sure people didn't drunkenly fall down the stairs], so I asked him if it was cool if I stood there.
'Sure. If anybody asks, I'll just tell 'em you're with the band', he says with smile.
Zoinks!
'Cool. Thanks!', I tell him.
So needless to say, I got to see the rest of the show from the cherry spot in the theater with no one blocking my view.
'Bad Dream' was particulary hauting last night.
They are honestly better live, than on CD.
Even if you are just a passive Keane fan, you should really check out their live shows. They may change your perspective.
