I loathe, loathe, loathe when people call me and after I say 'hello', the say 'hold on' or 'just a sec', and keep you waiting on the line.

If I have the time and it's a solicitor I’ll wait a minute for them to come on and give their spiel then I’ll say hold on a sec and put the phone down then I’ll just walk away.
I hate when I call people on their cell phone and they say, "Hello?" like they don't know it's me.
I'm in their Directory, for shit's sakes!
I love the hovering Lucy head in the photo...?
I second that emotion...I also hate it when people call you while they're having a live conversation with someone else who's in front of them.
