Doors Open Denver

Going to try and make it to this, this weekend. Missed it last year. I think it's a great idea.

2nd Annual Doors Open Denver

April 22 & 23, 2006, 10am - 4pm

Produced by the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs, Doors Open Denver is an annual free event offering residents and visitors the opportunity to experience Denver's architectural gems and lesser known treasures over one weekend of self-guided and expert-led architecture tours.

On the list of links at left, you will find:


• A downloadable Event Guide for the 2006 event. This guide is also available in hard copy form at select locations (click on "2006 Event Guide" link at left)


• Volunteer information and eform registration


• A list of participating buildings


• List of all Expert Tours offered throughout the weekend

Damn....when I was taking pics earlier, the mansion across the street from the Robert Frost building had a big sign out front. Doors Open Denver Site #69. If I would have known what it was all about, I would have went inside.
