I don't get it.

'Editions of You'

I don't get how people can be obsessed with Roxy Music.

Yeah, they were unique, but I think they are a tad overrated.

Someone school me.

Like 'Avalon'.

I loathe that song.

What am I missing?

What are you missing? Someone of the most romantic and avant garde pop music of the 70's & 80's.

You hurt me bad this time. :~(

I should make you a Bryan Ferry mix, too. A lot of his solo stuff is just as excellent.

I dunno. I guess it's his voice.

It bugs me for some odd reason.

Sorry.

Although I liked 'Kiss And Tell' from the Bright Lights Big City soundtrack.

omg wow this is one of those moments I hoped for my whole life and now it's here and.... I'm choking.

I always thought, "if I have one superpower, it's being able to help people 'get' Bryan Ferry."

Fuck. There must be kryptonite in here somewhere.

Ok, well, picture late nights -- bare brick walls -- someone's white loft. You're all too coked up. You're sweating. You're smoking someone else's cigarettes. Someone goes over and puts on some music and it makes you feel better, and after a while you realize it makes you feel really good, that there's something elegant and ever so slightly moving and odd about the guy singing, and it's making your heart ache and it's making you nostaligc for this moment right here and you feel really, really great.

Dang kryptonite.

Ah.

Ok, so I just need to get an 8-ball and throw a party with some Roxy Music.
