Not sure how I feel about this Cronenberg flick.
Yah it was creepy, and surreal, but boy did it drag.
And the special effects by today's standard are just laughable.

Actually, I love this movie, but partially because I'm a fan of old special effects like this, and partially because back in college I read about it first in a book called "Baked Potatoes", which was a guide to the best movies to watch when you're stoned.
In any event, it is a cult classic, and was re-released on DVD in a sweet box that looks like an oversized VHS tape, title all Sharpie'd up like the tape in the movie. I'm a sucker for a cool package... and gratuitous cheese gore. And Debbie Harry. When she was hot and not such a train wreck.
You must love 'Evil Dead' then.
Deborah Harry was sexy in this film.
I DO love Evil Dead. A lots.
