Virtual hubby Christopher tagged me.

So here goes:

1. Do you like Blue cheese?

On occasion. Which is surprising because I HATED it as a kid.

2. Have you ever smoked?

Unfortch, yep.

3. Do you own a gun?

No, but I actually do want to take up recreational shooting, like at a firing range.

That way when the zombies come, I can make perfect shots, like in 'Dawn Of The Dead'.

4. What flavor Kool Aid was your favorite?

I only remember cherry.

5. Do you get nervous before doctor appointments?

Depends on what I'm there for, and which type of doctor.

Ha ha.

Love 'em but they have to be 100% beef [Hebrew Nationals are my fave], and served with mustard and cheese.

Yum! [Damn, now I want a hot dog.]

7. Favorite Christmas movie?

'A Christmas Story', 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation', and 'Home Alone'.

8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning?

Vodka.

Ha ha.

Green tea, milk, or water.

9. Can you do push ups?

Yep, but I'm not allowed to work out in public.

The cops arrested me for carrying these guns.

10. What’s your favorite piece of jewelry?

Toss up between my tongue ring, and my knife-cut ring from Tiffany's.

They don't sell it anymore but it looks like this [it's not a wedding band though, although it could prob pass for one].

[Man, I'm such a 'mo. Ha ha.]

11. Favorite hobby?

Collecting lederhosen.

Actually, collecting music.

And it's kind of getting out of hand.

I have already filled up half of an 100gig external hard drive with just music.

12. Do you have A.D.D.?

Definitely.

My attention span is about five minutes.

I have to be doing multiple things at once.

13. Do you wear glasses/contacts?

Wore colored contacts for a while when I worked at The Big Gay Club.

14. Middle names?

James.

Boring I know [no offense James!], but Big Daddy James does have a certain porn star appeal to it.

Maybe I should start going by that.

15. Name 3 thoughts at this exact moment?

'I just died in your arms tonight. It musta been something you said', hunger, dread [of the commute tomorrow - thanks Obama].

16. Name 3 drinks you regularly drink?

Water [tons of it - drank a gallon so far today], milk, tea, juice, vodka.

17. Current worry?

Having to buy a car if they move our offices at The Corporation.

18. Current hate right now?

That I wasted three days in the lamest, worst vendor equipment training class I have ever been to.

19. Favorite place to be?

In bed, under the covers, on a chilly day.

20. How did you bring in the New Year?

Don't remember.

D'oh!

21. Where would you like to go?

The Maldives, Madagascar, Croatia, Iceland, Cardiff, home [at work now].

22. Name three people who will complete this?

Going to see if Clay, Viva, and let's see if Just David! will do it.

23. Do you own slippers?

Like old-man slippers for the house?

No.

But many of my dress shoes are slip-ons.

Do those count?

24. What shirt are you wearing?

One of my faves: a red gingham short sleeve country button down.

It's like a modern Banana Republic version of the classic cowboy shirt with the pearl snaps.

25. Where will you be spending Christmas?

Haven't thought about it.

26. Can you whistle?

Yep, and sometimes it gets me in trouble because I don't realize I am doing it.

27. Favorite color?

Red, orange, black and white.

28. Would you be a pirate?

Nah, I don't like forcibly taking stuff from people.

I'd rather have then wanting to give it to me.

29. What songs do you sing in the shower?

Whatever is on the radio at the time.

30. Favorite Girl’s Name?

Evelyn, Victoria, Petunia, Lola, Vivienne, Shanikqua

31. Favorite Boy’s name?

Avery, Sebastian, Madison, Xerxes, Mustaffah, Bailey, Baxter, Stone, Rock, Dexter, Seamus

32. What’s in your pocket right now?

Lip balm, lighter, wallet, handkerchief.

33. Last thing that made you laugh?

The guy who called my shoes 'cute' this morning [see below].

35. Worst injury you’ve ever had?

When I face-planted in to the pavement.

Busted my nose, lip, and scraped a good chunk of skin off my upper lip.

36. Do you love where you live?

Abso-friggin'-lutely.

I love my city and my 'hood.

37. How many TVs do you have in your house?

Two

38. Name 3 other words for penis:

Peep, salami, kielbasa

39. Name 3 other words for vagina:

Vadge, Poudre Valley, hoo-ha.

40. Name 3 other words for Tits:

The Girls, big bodacious ta-ta's, breasteses.

T$ tagged me with a book meme.

The rules for this one is similar to one I did a while ago, but this time I have a different book.

1. Pick up the nearest book.
2. Open to page 123.
3. Locate the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences on your blog and in so doing...
5. Tag five people, and acknowledge who tagged me.

So here's mine from the King Of Run-On Sentences, Bret Easton Ellis:

''The bus pulled away from the curb before everyone was seated and hurled back onto the highway.

I tried to read the book but couldn't.

It started to rain, the sound of the Talking Heads coming from the cassette player, the girls passing Diet Pepsi and nachos back and forth and trying to flirt with me, the incessant yapping from the college boys in back, someone smoking clove cigarettes, an occasional joint, talking about how som slut named Ursula was f-cked by some guy named Phil in the back of some guy's Toyota Nissan named Mark and how Ursula lied to Phil and said it wasn't his baby but he paid for the abortion anyway and it was all so irritating I couldn't even concentrate on anything.'
Can you name the book?

T$ at Buffalo Void tagged me with a meme, so here goes!

1. Pick a single person, past or present, in the film industry who you'd like to have dinner with, and tell us why you chose this person.

Marilyn Monroe because I would love to dish the gossip and find out what really went on with her life. This is assuming she teleports to the present day for the special dinner.

2. Set the table for your dinner. What would you eat? Would it be in a home or at a restaurant? And what would you wear? Feel free to elaborate on the details.

It would be out at Zengo.

Everything on the menu.

For fun I'd sport a tux, and she of course would be glammed out.

Kimono Kisses would be drank throughout.

Yum!

3. List five thoughtful questions you would ask this person during dinner.

1. So what really went on with John F. Kennedy?

2. Robert Kennedy?

3. What was it like to work with Montgomery Clift? Would she have done him if he hadn't [wasn't?] a big 'mo?

4. Did you realize what an impact you would have on pop culture and history?

5. What rumors are/aren't true about her and her life?

Bonus questions:

What was being married to Joe Dimaggio like?

Was he an Italian Stallion?

Can I videotape the dinner date for proof?

4. When all is said and done, select bloggers to pass this Meme along to. Link back to Lazy Eye Theatre, so that people know the mastermind behind this Meme.

My Favorite Topic: 'Me'

Buffalo Void tagged me.

So here are my 'Ten Tiny Tings' meme:

1. When you were born, how much did you weigh?

9 pounds 11 ounces.

I was a biggun'.

And like Buffalo Void, they had to come get me because I didn't want to come out.

I was a week late.

2. What's you're sugar poison?

I'm more of a spicy/salty type, but when I do crave sugar, it's usually for ice cream or Godiva truffles.

3. If you had to choose between meat and cheese for the rest of your life, which would you choose? Then be specific.

Ack! I think I would rather die.

I couldn't live without cheese, but I wouldn't be able to only eat that for the rest of my life.

I guess I'll go with meat since that leaves a nice variety of options.

[Great, now I want a pastrami and swiss sandwich.]

4. What, is your opinion, is the worst song ever?

Ooh, I like Buffalo's answer on this: 'Definitely that "I'm Proud To Be An American" country song. It is the epitome of American close-mindedness.'

I'd have to say George Harrison's 'Got My Mind Set On You' and and anything by Black Eyed Peas or The Pussycat Dolls.

5. Who was your favorite teacher growing up and why?

Actually I had quite a few.

But the one who probably had the most impact was Ms. Ingram, my third grade elementary teacher.

She noticed I was always bored in class, and recommended me for a special program for 'gifted' kids.

I got to learn stuff I wanted to learn, instead of being drug down learning the lessons the rest of the other kids were being taught.

6. What personal activity, when performed in public, bothers you the most?

Again, I agree with Buffalo: 'Any kind of finger or toe nail maintenance. I once had a co-worker that trimmed his nails at his desk and the clippings flew everywhere. To this day, my stomach churns at the memory.'

7. Ok, there's a $50 bill lying on the ground. You pick it up. Dumbfounded by your incredible luck, what do you selfishly purchase?

Honestly, I would feel guilty if I found $50. I found $100 once, and gave it to the Salvation Army. So, I would probably donate the fifty as well.

8. Do you have a recurring nightmare? If so, explain.

Not really nightmares, but the two most common ones are:

I'm in a house or apartment that begins to fall in disrepair, and I struggle to maintain it.

There recently was a twist on this one where the house I was in was possessed, and was trying to maim me.

The other one is usually where I am in a position where a task needs to be completed, but I get stressed out because I want to do it my way, but am often up against opposition.

For example, the other night I dreamt I was working at this hybrid of a restaurant and a club I worked for, and I was a manager or something, and I was getting pissed off because the place was filthy and the more I tried to clean it up, it kept getting dirtier.

Wait, actually, that's similar to the first one.

Surprisingly, a psychiatrist once told me I was fine and didn't need therapy.

9. Name one place on Earth you've never been, but vow to visit at least once.

The UK and Barcelona.

10. You notice that question #9 wasn't really a question. You feel smart for catching such a small detail. What else can you do really well that reminds you how smart you are?

But, I named two.

Is that a problem?

I would have to say, it would probably be the fact that I can tape all of your buns together whilst applying lip balm without using my hands.

Normally, I don't tag people, but I am going to do it this time.

So Clayton Barrel | Big Gay Hairdresser | Howard | D | Sacajawea | Viva Vavoom | Caffeinator X | Meredith, you're up.

Clinton over at Zombie Fights Shark tagged me, so here goes.

Long time readers, this is all old stuff to you.

Seven random things about me:

- I fell out of a moving vehicle as a kid. I was playing with the door latch, and wasn't wearing a selt belt. This was the early 80's when seatbelts weren't used. I reached out to close the door, and tumbled out. No injuries surprisingly.

- While I did not live on the actual streets, there have been multiple times that I have been homeless.

- I was 'on cast' for the Rocky Horror Picture show when it played at The Esquire. I played 'Dr. Scott', wheelchair and all.

- Friends and I, almost ran over Bjork when she was in town for the U2 Zoo TV tour. It was her fault. She darted out in front of us as we exited a parking garage.

- Speaking of that concert, my 'confessional' video was used as part of the second act's opening montage.

- I fell on my face outside a nightclub once, and ended up in detox at the emergency room. Shackled to the bed even, as I kept trying to go home because I thought I was fine. When I fell, I managed to scrape off the layer of skin that holds the melanin. In the right light, you can see my 'albino patch'.

- I have Margaret Cho's signature on my ATM card.

Update: Tagged! - 'One of These is Not Like The Other'

Answers below in orange:

Clever Fool tagged me on his post about having his readers try and figure out which of his statements are true.

He gives you the assistance of knowing that two are fake.

I won't.

Ha ha.

So which, if any, of the following are true?

- I have never been arrested, but I have been cited for public indecency. - False, although there have been quite a few times that I could have been cited.

- I was prom king, and attended my prom with one of our school's cheerleaders. - True. I am trying to gather the courage to post photos, but my hair is so horribly 90's, I think it would make my stock plummet.

- I was 'the other woman' during a nine-month relationship with a guy who was already in a 'committed' relationship. - True. I've been the other woman a couple of times actually.

- I was in high school marching band, and our group got to perform at the Tournament of Roses [the Rose Parade]. - Totally false. I was an activities-geek in high school, but not in the band.

- I have a half-sister that I have never met. - Misleading. I was still visiting my dad when she was born, but soon after, I fell out of touch with him and that side of the family. Haven't talked or seen them since age 11.

- I was once punched by a New York City firefighter. - True.
Discuss.

Quaker Ono tagged me, so I have to post eight things about myself.

Since I did this back in February, and I have some new readers since then, I am going to include some new and old things.

While we're supposed to then tag an additional eight readers, I am going to decline, as I think I already know 'TMI' about my awesome, beautiful, readers.

Ya'll are naughty.

Ha!

So eight things about me:

- I fell out of a moving vehicle as a kid. I was playing with the door latch, and wasn't wearing a selt belt.

This was the early 80's when seatbelts weren't used.

I reached out to close the door, and tumbled out.

No injuries surprisingly.

Which brings me to my next thing:

- I am prone to injuring my face.

In first place, ahead of being punched by a New York City firefighter, the longest lasting injury has to be the time I fell on my face and incurred such a bad facial contusion, that I actually lost the layer that included the melanin, from my face.

In the right light, you can see my 'albino patch'.

Some say that injuries to the head, and face, are an Aries trait [which I am], and I am beginning to believe them.

- Speaking of facial contusions, I now have a fear of heights.

I never had a problem with them before, but now, I get dizzy when I even think of being in a tall structure. I think all the blows to the head, have compromised my sense of balance.

- I have never been in trouble with the law. However, I was pulled over one time because I fit the descpription of someone they were looking for.

- My mother was adopted, and she has no desire to find out about her bio-family, which leaves me with an unidentified ethnic background.

This screws me in the sense, that I have no idea what genetical, medical issues I have from her side.

Nor, an ethnic identity.

Which has seriously affected my perception on race, but that's for another post.

I do know that I am Navajo American Indian, and Latino, on my dad's side.

Which ended up giving me the Adult Acne curse.

It sucks.

Which brings me to the next thing:

- I am pretty sure I am developing body-dysmorphic issues.

Even though I am 125 pounds, and can fit in to a 28" waist, I still think I am fat.

I have pics of me when I was a whopping 140, and the sight of my big belly, totally touched my psyche.

I have always been a picky eater, and I think I never finish portions of food, due to this [in addition to my dad making me finish everything on my plate, as a kid, which I hated, and resultingly got punished for].

Add on top of this, what I called -- Tanorexia.

I tan to keep my acne under control, and while I am not trying to look like a Real Housewife From Orange County, I feel pasty white as a fish-belly.

- As a youth, I did every popular drug under the sun.

Granted, I never did anything that involved a needle, but besides heroin [as far as I know], and opium, I have pretty much popped it, smoked it, or snorted it.

I only bring this up as, I have seen some shows recently, that focus on how various drugs ruin lives, but that was not my experience.

In fact, I learned a lot from them.

I am proud to be a part of the near-Millenium Rave Culture Movement.

And, while, yes, I will concede that drugs CAN ruin a person's life, it enhanced mine.

It all depends on the addictive personality of the person.

Even though I experimented with various illegal, and legal, pharmaceuticals, I never had a habit.

I didn't need drugs to get through the course of the day.

And off the record, Ecstasy was my favorite.

So many stories, and lessons.

We should just dose the entire Middle East with that stuff, and finally resolve their shite.

Finally, since Quaker mentioned piercings in his.....

- At one point, I had two tongue piercings, a labret, and my nipple pierced.

Now, all I have left, is one single tongue piercing.

My first one.

And even though my dentist is concerned that it is making my gums recede in that area, I can't take it out.

It would be like losing a limb.

- And since tattoos were brought up in his comments, I have included the pic above of my tat.

It's my name in Arabic [Picture included above].

I got it before the whole 9.11 thing, and that ended up being weird.

After all of that, I had people look at me funny.

I originally got it because I think Arabic script is beautiful.

The squiggly and dramatic lines, I find visually stunning.

I have been planning to get an Aleph on my other arm to balance things out, but just haven't got around to it.

For those of you who don't know what an Aleph is, it is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. [Hence 'alphabet'].

This is as a statement to the whole concept of religion, and how it now affects our daily life.

I was born, and raised as a Roman Catholic, but eventually realized organized religion isn't for me.

[I was never an altar boy...but the Pope did visit my church].

So there you go.

Some new, and old, info about the person known as Big Daddy.

[P.S. - a new banner is coming soon!]
